Here are some of my favorite snack ideas...
- 4 oz Greek yogurt with fresh fruit or 1 oz nuts
- 1 oz low-fat cheese with 5-6 whole grain crackers
- 2 T hummus with raw veggies (carrots, celery, bell peppers, etc.)
- 1 T nut butter with apple or banana
- ½ turkey or PB&J sandwich on whole grain bread
- ½ cup edamame or ¼ cup dry roasted edamame
- ½ whole wheat English muffin with hardboiled egg
- 3 cups air-popped popcorn
- 1 fruit and 1 mozzarella stick
- 1 fruit and ¼ cup cottage cheese
- ¼ cup fruit and nut trail mix
- 1 slice whole grain bread with 1 T nut butter
- Tuna on 5-6 whole grain crackers
- Veggies and 3 oz guacamole
- 1 cup frozen grapes
